MAKE A DONATION TO AFASIC CYMRU
Afasic relies on voluntary donations to enable it to provide vital services for children and young people with speech and language impairments and their families. Last year we ran summer schools for pupils moving up to mainstream secondary school, these proved a great success and we are hoping to run these courses again this year as the transition from primary to secondary school is a particularly difficult time for any young person but even more so for those we represent. We also ran numerous activity days – which work on the social skills of our youngsters. Therefore we need your help. Please make a donation towards our work. This can be by way of a cheque (payable to Afasic Cymru), credit card, or CAF card.

It would help us greatly if you could support us on a regular basis, just click on the 'standing order form' link at the top of the page, complete it and send it to us. If you are a taxpayer then we can maximise your donation by claiming back the tax from the government. All you need to do is make your donation as normal, complete the "Gift Aid Declaration" and send it off to us with the donation, we will do the rest. It won't cost you a penny and will enable us to boost your donation by an extra 28p for every pound that you give! Alternatively, many employers run a “GIVE AS YOU EARN” scheme – simply ask your HR Dept for a DONOR Instruction Form and your regular donation will be deducted straight from your salary.
Volunteers needed for fundraising
Afasic Cymru would like to hear from enthusiastic volunteers willing to raise much needed funds for Afasic Cymru. We are currently partially funded by WAG and actively seeking other funding sources but during this current economic climate we are looking for additional support from our members and supporters. Would you be able to raise £10?? You could hold a coffee morning or car boot sale – do a sponsored diet in time for the summer, the list is endless and ALL donations are gratefully received and featured in our newsletters.
