Abby’s story

Abby talks about her early childhood and the frustrations she felt by not being able to express herself and to understand others.

Help at home

Abby recalls how her parents helped her to understand words by making a photo book of her daily routine. Abby then started to link words with the actions in the photograph.

Damian talks about growing up with a speech and language impairment which he refers to as Dysphasia. He recalls his early childhood and the problems he had with talking and with understanding what other people said.
